As of 2013, the U.S as a country consumed approximately 5,608,654,506lbs worth of bacon in a year. I didn't (and couldn't) do the math, but apparently that works out at the equivalent of 7.8 full-sized Empire State Buildings. Excuse my French, but that is a sh*t ton of bacon. I mean, in the last two days I have eaten six rashers of bacon and I thought that was alot.
I guess I have a lot of catching up to do.
