So with another new academic year comes with it another fresh start, and I feel it is time to try and set some goals for myself so that I create some stuff that i'm truly proud of, rather than simply satisfied by.
Areas of expertise I want to explore:
- Producing -
I want to learn to produce, so I will offer myself as a producer for some DFSA grad films. I feel as though this will be a very useful skill to pick up and is something I wish to improve upon.
- Continue practical experiments from last semester -
Following my experiments with cymatics and my resonance experiments, I want to conduct more complex experiments and apply them in a unique and creative way.
- Creative, experimental Music Videos -
Using green screen suits and chroma paint I want to create some unique music videos and potentially collaborate with musicians outside of the uni and build up some networks.
- Launch production company w/ collaborators -
This is an ongoing project - I want to create a company that facilitates creators to produce a diverse range of material. This includes (but is not limited to): Documentaries, Short Films, Advertisements, Online marketing content and graphic design.
- Series of short documentaries -
I want to make a series of 3 minutes documentary profiles telling one persons' unique story. Doing this will help me gain a deeper knowledge of narrative and will help me develop my skills in visual storytelling.
