Starting at UCA Farnham has been  an awesome time for me. These last two weeks have been super fun. I have met loads of new people, learnt about art I never knew even existed and developed my skills on new technology.

I am really excited to continue meeting new people and developing as a creative individual. I wish to devlelop in as many areas as possible, be it in cinematography, editing, writing, directing, animation or even presentation skills. The notion that I am being developed into a "professional" is quite a daunting prospect. I guess it's made me realise that I am becoming an adult. And I don't mind that. As scary as being an "adult" is, we all still have that little spark that makes us us. That little flicker of a smile or a glint in an eye shows the people around us that we are still growing, still learning. And even if society deems us 'adults' we never truly be adults as we cling on to those things that shaped us when we were younger, the experiences that moulded us into the person we are today.

I know this sounds like a bunch of soppy mid-life crisis-esque bull; but I am genuinely excited to continue meeting new people and developing my skills as a creative individual.

(most posts won't normally be this soppy we just had to do a blog post about our experiences of starting at UCA Farnham in a freeblogging excercise. Honestly, most posts won't be this existential, or maybe they will idk)
